Based on UK gallon, I did 239 miles towing with a 130 200tdi, loaded with a 130 to the docks and then running empty with the trailer, I used 8.8 gallons of fuel, so that equates to 27.15 mpg, there was a lot of traffic and my average speed was about 50 mph, and i'm running a 1;6 transferbox. 235/85/16 tyres.

It's 3.78 liters in a US gallon and 4.12 liters in an Imperial gallon. It makes a huge difference. I averaged 24 USmpg when I daily drove that 90. That was about 22 miles highway and 5 slow city. Best I did was 28-29 on a road trip to Scotland with a 200 and 1.4 and 235/85s.

My 130 will have the original 3.5V8 replaced before sale to the USA

I was getting 20-22 combined driving up 3k' elevation with 6% grades each day. It would get close to 28 at 70mph on flat. I think if you drove 50mph in 5th it would get mid 30s but I never tried. The 1.003 made flat great. I sold the truck, though. It's living happily in Utah now. Part of me regrets selling that one, too. The wife reclaimed the gx470 so I have a beat 254k mile Honda Odyssey that got hit by a car that didnt curb its wheels. Zip tied front bumper and everything.

I'm on the hunt for a 200tdi 110, 200tdi Disco, 200tdi Range Rover, or a diesel hilux surf or FJ80 Land Cruiser to buy in the UK for our vacation next fall and ship back afterwards.

Posting mileage increase. Last month on 473 miles I averaged 30.7 MPG. Same type of driving mostly city but a few short hwy drives. Elevation the same. Bad news I was going to return to B20 this fill up and the dealer wasn't carrying Bio at this time. I'm going to contact them as they are still listed on biodiesel.org as a dealer.

So, have you been running B20 up till now?

I filled my tank up with B20. It was a little over half full, and although my speedo isn't hooked up yet, I'm keeping track of my mileage (as little as it is at this point) on a GPS. I'll post my first results once I burn off 5-6 gallons and get a refill.

No I stopped running B20 in Sept as it gets cold here and they stop selling around then. Normally sales start up in the spring again as the weather is warmer.
I called the local dealer and they start selling again in a few weeks so it looks like I was a little early this year.
So I will be able to compare low sulfur normal diesel to BIO in another tank.
My perception is that I get very slightly better mileage on the normal low sulfur stuff.

Update 32.8 on B20

I haven't updated in a while so I figured I would give my latest results.
Switched to B20 and got 32.8 MPG with a pretty heavy foot and more Highway driving than normal. I'm super happy with the mileage I've been getting. Anyone else getting figures in that range?

So most of my driving is for work so I'm empty most of the time (I do have a full hand made roof rack). When I do carry gear or passengers I figure at the most is around 600-700 lbs with camping gear, coolers, bikes and people.
What is considered "heavily loaded" to most people?

Not sure about Colorado, but here in Oregon, I filled up with B20 at a Chevron station that had one pump that was dedicated to bio fuel, and it was not a Chevron pump. Can't really tell until you take a close look at the pump, or see a specific sign that says "B20" with the price on it.
