Another R2.8 Install (long BH R380 version)

I took out the RH spring and got the axle within an inch of the bump stop. Clearance between the pan and DS looks good. DP is tight and I already had to cut it to even get it in there. A tight 45° radius should get it routed in the correct direction.

Pics of the clearance by the oil cooler. About a 1/2 inch between the oil cooler and the PS box. Also a pic on the LH bulkhead side.

Here are some pics of the clearance on the seatbox and transfer case. I first had the engine at more of a tilt but the LT230 shift was about hitting the seatbox. It is still pretty tight but much better. The rear bolts will have to go in as the whole lump gets a final install.

Do you have to keep the DPF ? Do they do inspections on older vehicles?

I don't think I have to keep the DPF but figured it would be nice to have. If it gets too hard to make the downpipe I will convert to a straightpipe setup.

Thanks Clay - I think once the engine mounts are welded in I can prep, primer and paint the chassis and then start putting it together for final. That's where progress feels like it's being made!
