I agree!! I made the change to the QDB kit also. Mine is RHD, so I had to fab a bracket that attached to my clutch pedal box. Only issue that I have is running out of pedal distance before WOT on the sensor. Hasn’t been a big deal, except when trying to drive above 75mph on a hill. I may look love you to design of an eccentric cam.A big improvement was made with the QD throttle relocation kit. The Cummins supplied setup was super touchy and with the rough ride of the Defender going over any bumps or slow speed it would be hard to keep the throttle pressure even.
Just a thought, but if you lowered the attachment point of the cable barrel at the TPS (on the same arm, just lower) you would require less pedal throw for more rotation and may solve your WOT issue.I agree!! Since we are utilizing different front covers, our set ups differ—on the front cover with integrated oil filter, there is also not enough room for the common VDO sender (just barely!). I chose to just slightly relax the front cover so it fit (im always wary of drips too—and I wanted to eliminate as many connections as possible). Since I know several folks received (or changed as I did) to integrated covers, I just thought I’d mention it. It didn’t take much, but I don’t think this is possible with the remote oil filter cover. Just so folks know the covers differ. Your conversion looks awesome! And I’m stoked your sharing these solutions—I always love seeing what you’re doing!I've been busy but knocked out a few little things that helped a lot over the last couple of months.
The Axis oil pressure sender relocation kit was installed after getting a slight drip on my previous setup (a few Home Depot plumbing pieces to get the big VDO sender to fit directly to the port).
Pictures will look a little different as I redid the setup but I always feel more pictures the better.
I thought about that as the simple/easy option, but I think the concern is how it is keyed (square hole attachment). I either have pedal hitting the floor or the cable end hitting the threaded mount before WOT.Just a thought, but if you lowered the attachment point of the cable barrel at the TPS (on the same arm, just lower) you would require less pedal throw for more rotation and may solve your WOT issue.

Maybe I can think about it this holiday time off
any luck with that? I tried to re-run the calibration yesterday.I loosened the bolt that restricts (floored) position of the pedal to the point that the travel resulted i. The TPS unit bottoming out. I’ll see if that helps for WOT.
I want to make sure this thread stays focused on Donb’s awesome build, suffice it to say yes. But may help DonB. Don, reach out if trouble with pedal dance and I’ll elaborate!
Donb, I have gone through a few intake positions - so I have recalibrated each time. Recently I installed my QDB TPS... and I thought I recalibrated again...but perhaps not. It has been running fine - no flat spots...but I did notice on one of my highway runs...a longer hill....that had the pedal to the floor but could only sustain about 75mph (was able sustain higher with pedal space using the cummins pedal previously). I thought that perhaps a recalibration would reset the WOT position using factory pedal/QDB TPS. But I have not been able to get it to go into calibration mode this week. I dont have any other issues. I am wondering if your hesitation / flat spot is more intake recalibration than tps pedal calibration....Funny that this came up as I've been driving my 110 around and I seem to be noticing a hesitation and flat spot. I'm wondering if I need to do another calibration cycle? Did you guys do that after you installed the QD throttle relocation? I did my first calibration with the Cummins pedal.
