Yeah I actually thought about that last night because I just got a power bank that is USB C. Fortunately these are very easy to change, so I can do that in the future. You might want to go with higher output USB-C

How was Your experience with BRD? Pricing for their overhaul? Are they willing to make mods internally to the pump, or only stock spec rebuilds?I did a little work on my 110 yesterday. I'm still working on rewiring the truck and now working from the front to the rear of the vehicle. But before I got to the wiring I decided to get started with a simple project. I had just received a spare injection pump back from Blue Ridge Diesel after a rebuild. This was a good time to install the dynamic timing advance spacer.

While doing a LS swap on a 300 Tdi D90 a while ago I saved a full Genuine hand throttle setup, so I bolted the lever to the injection pump while I had it on the bench.

I want to finish all of the factory wiring before worrying about wiring accessories, but also wanted to button up the front end, so I ran the wires for the Hella 550s. I routed the wires through the wing following the factory harness. View attachment 29336
Of course I found another shop's quality work which was a loose ground installed in the wheel liner.

I put a nutsert in there and used an actual bolt and star washer to secure this AC ground. I was able to then put the grill back in and reinstall the eyebrow.

Moving onto the interior... I had removed the electric windows after breaking several regulators, so I no longer needed the switch plate in the dash. I wanted to keep my gauges and needed some USB ports, so I got a new panel from SDO and installed with one constant and one ignition powered USB port

I didn’t ask any questions and just sent mine in for a rebuild. I assume mine was just built back to stock. I don’t have the invoice in front of me, but is was around $800 from memoryHow was Your experience with BRD? Pricing for their overhaul? This was a complete third member built by Lucky 8, but all after market pinion dust shields will hit the housing. We usually turn them down on the lathe or leave them off like they did.Is it just me or are you omitting the pinion mud-shield?

Why would the studs be too short? Was the new third's flange that much thicker? I've never seen them too short before.I put my apprentice on my 110 today and he knocked out installing a new third member with an ATB and reverse cut gears. One snag was that four of the studs were too short, but we grabbed some out of another axle. I used a nut to pull them into the housing.
I’ve definitely run into this before, but I’m guessing it’s a 10 spline thing. The four studs at 3 and 9 o’clock are about .25” shorter. This probably wouldn’t be an issue if a D2 third was used since the casting is much thinner. Why would the studs be too short? Was the new third's flange that much thicker? hmmm, so I see by way of Excel, you chose the "hammer lock" style....that disconnects. I will likely take this route for ease of install. Just need some dyneema to wrap around it now.Everyone should be in the yellow hook gang
