@WreckITFrank dropped off the 110 with
@Angus in chase in the RRS yesterday.
My neighbor, who is a rover person (had a D1 has an LR3) who builds custom Porsches (check him out on Instagram @the_r_institute ) texted me and asked if he could see it. I was swapping the front doors for a nice set of NAS 110 fronts I had. We ended up getting them swapped successfully and reglued the door seats.
BTW, if you need to do doors, buy the Wera PZ4 chiseldriver. I can’t say enough about these screwdrivers. Life changing does not cover it. The PZ4 is like $25 but worth every penny and the set with slotted, PH1-3, PZ1-3 T20, T25 is like $65-85 if you shop right. Add a T30 for the updated hinge bolts with the PZ4 and you are golden.
I sawzalled off the added bar behind the front seats, sawzalled off a random stud, fitted the license plate, put on some old badger seat covers, put in a NAS heavy duty rear mat, filled her with washer fluid, removed an old CB radio, poked at some rust holes and just futzed around. I am going to take off the steps and finish removing the lower door seals today (she has the riveted to the T-pieces stupid kind).
