I'd like my dash lights brighter than they are, but I don't know about that bright, is there an in between option?!?

On a Td5 dash the LEDs are not as bright. A bit different than earlier dash gauges. 🤷‍♂️

They are brighter but not blinding like some modern cars or touchscreen infotainment systems

Bolts and bushings upgrade complete. New LR/OEM bushings, and several orders from Belmetric later....the 130 rides on rails 😉

Changed the thermostat on the OM617. Had a suspicion the one in there was no good. Now she warms up faster and the needle stays in the middle which is great. Heat much sooner. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Which today meant a nice long drive.

I'm stripping out what's left of the main wiring harness. It was damaged by rodents when it sat idle in a field for many years. It's being replaced by an Autosparks harness. I'm very impressed with how well the new harness is made.

I swapped out my recently failed tstat (non-genuine) for a new genuine one. Same thing, heats up faster than before, but now stays where it should on the gauge. Thanks @Z.G

Gotta love it. Now the heat in that comes out the vents it’s comparable to the heat from the Wrangler TJ I had. Works!

Finally found time to pull the cylinder liners on my 4BD1T. Not hard, but having to rebuild an engine is a PITA. Hope to be back on the road in a month.
