I feel like I'm going through Land Rover psychological stages that have gone undocumented for years...
1) Excitement: "A new Defender is coming to the US!!!"
2) Worry: "What if it is not X, X and X? (maybe add a few more Xs)"
3) Anger: "I can't believe JLR is so blind! They don't care about me, the enthusiast!"
4) Exhaustion: "I need a break from the forums and google image search and need to fix X on my existing Land Rover."
4) Acceptance: "Well, if I get the right, non-metalic color, re-do the front end with a kit, change the tires, add some Defendery bits, and slap on a 'My other Land Rover is a real Defender' bumper sticker... It will be OK. Besides, they'll do a metal refresh in a few years."
Well... we still have the rear of the truck, a refrigerator door with a spare, large rear doors, and a square load area. Just cut out the grill to expose the winch and cover up the front-end with a brush guard.
