Hi, I am helping a friend do a frame swap on his 1997 NAS. As the 1997 is an automatic trans, where is the best place to disconnect the transmission and transfer case from the controls (gear shift mechanism and transfer selector) to facilitate lifting the body off in one piece?

I second the slightly larger 255 85 16. I have run KM2’s in that size on a 90 with OME suspension (so about 2” lift) — they look great, ride nice, and are available.
