Not for the faint of heart - ‘95 NAS

Just IMHO again, but having a NAS as a base with a clear title is probably worth it for a rebuild which is why the floor for clean title NAS trucks is what it is. If you are spending six figures, why not spend an extra 25k for a NAS to start with.

This is especially true for people in California where I don’t think you can register a ROW truck (at least not easily).

That truck is worse than mine was and I've spent years fixing rust on it. Of course if I was a millionaire and had a workshop with lots of help it wouldn't take very long, but it's a ton of work for one person on a budget with occasional help. But even the millionaires I know don't like to spend money and would be taking just as long as I am lol.

I agree it would be good to have the NAS VIN & title for a new build, but there isn't much that can be salvaged on it. So I think it would make more sense to buy a decent NAS 90 and sell it as parts afterwards which would reduce the overall expense.

Brave project! How doe the chassis look? Many things are "cosmetic" at the end of the day, but brakes, steering, and frame need to be in workable shape.
