What in your opinion was the problem with the d90 search? I ask really only because Dweb, here and D90 all use the exact same forum software unless they really messed with the search triggers after I left, they should all run about the same.

I think they both blow.... I guess I don't have those ninja search skilz....

When I need better search, I use google. If you put this before your search terms, it will restrict results to just this site:

site:nas-row.com

I would put a Google search bar like D90 Source but those add tracking cookies and show ads and you know how we feel about that.

This is what I use since it usually can read my mind regarding what I'm looking for.

Watch out.. thats what drove half of them insane over there.

Damn guys, so much great traffic here this morning. We've been busy adding tons of users every day and it's really good to see the momentum building. Thanks for posting here first instead of that other site--that's what's going to make N-R a success. Keep reaching out to your friends who aren't on Facebook or Instagram and telling them about this place.

A few pieces of site news for you:

- I'm working on a mobile skin for phone and tablet users. I haven't found any that I like yet. If anybody has any details on the "Defender Source" app (like, who made it), please reach out. I'm not convinced that an app is the best long-term solution because it has to be maintained and that costs money, but I'm willing to look into it. Perhaps we could do a fundraiser to raise the funds to buy one.

- I'm working on re-vamping the "Thanks" function into a "Like" function. I think that will be more general-purpose.

- I'm working on a site icon for the your browser bookmarks. Hope to have that done soon.

- Huge thanks to Jay for creating stickers and t-shirts for us. Please support him in the effort!

Would the words: "Land Rover Defender" help get the site web search hits?
To get lots of traffic, this site needs to come up on the first page of search engine results.

I have found that browsing the site with just my standard mobile browser works fine. In fact I was out of town when I saw the link on FB from Knightbridge. I browsed and joined the site without issue.

Wow, I'm glad I stumbled on this site. All those names from the past - feels like 1999 all over again when I first bought my D1. CVC, John Lee, Jorge... :)

Thanks to the powers that be for setting this up.

Agreed. I prefer the standard mobile browser over an app.

Is there a suggestion thread like on the other site? Can we have an "up to the top" button at the bottom right? I use my phone and it is really annoying having to swipe a bunch of times to get to the top. Thanks.
