It's tough to beat a Rolex sport series watch. This GMT Master has been my daily workhorse for the last 12+ years. It keeps perfect time, it works in casual and formal situations, and there are no alerts or Bluetooth connections to annoy you.

Without a doubt, I love my Rolex just about as much as I do anything else I own. I bought it the week before I was married. Sometimes, I get nostalgic and think about all the places its been and how it derives its power from my life. When I stop, it will stop, until it is born again on a new owner.

My Rolex has...

been to my wedding
held both of my newborn sons
been on every Rover trip I've ever done
wrenched on trucks
done a bunch of Army stuff
been to Honduras, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, Hungary, UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, Canada, and Mexico
been SCUBA diving to 110 feet
...and so much more

Until recently, a lot of the H&K's of my dreams were unobtanium in the US. There are a handful of good custom H&K clone builders out there.

MP5 & MP5k (clones). not select fire, but great fun.

I have the same question regarding my other make modern 4x4 that fits this very best criteria per my needs. I am sure it would not ruffle feathers but full on pluck the feathers!
Here is one that shouldn’t cause any feather loss.

I really love the Fjallraven Ovik knit hats.

My Traeger Ironwood 1300. Admittedly I really don't know how to smoke but am really looking forward to doing that. Works great as a grill and my weekly family pizza. And I am being more adventurous with what I cook.

Just need to add a few more cooking utensils but haven't found a pizza peel and potato slicer that I like.

If I added anything to this list it would have been my Traeger. I received it as a Fathers Day gift in 2014 and use it multiple times each week as a smoker, bbq and as an oven. Absolutely an amazing invention and it definitely belongs in this thread. A Traeger is often imitated but never duplicated.

Yep. Have same one with black versus the more typical Pepsi ring.
Last watch I purchased which was in 1985. Has served me well.

I bet that has great patina.
Thx. When we were living in Switzerland took the opportunity to send it back to its birth place for a service in Geneva. Of course it cost more than the original purchase price!! It is for sure a piece of my life though and even when living in Rio always wore it without issues.

What's an example of an affiliate link?

I don't want to derail our thread here, so you can read more about it here. In short, links that make money for the poster. Many forums (including D90) have software that automatically replaces (or adds, if not present) their own affiliate codes to things like Amazon links so that they make money. This always rubbed me the wrong way and I felt that forum owners allowed more garbage content so long as they were making money off it. We've never done that here. This site is non-commercial and we raise enough from occasional pass-the-hats to cover hosting expenses. As such, no affiliate links. Not from the site owners, or anybody else.

I have a MS271 which is a monster but for most of the jobs I need around the house I grab the MS250. Much lighter and way better for above head cutting but strong enough to get through big items. Although it can be a pain in the ass to start sometimes. The MS271 fires up at any time.

Another very impressive saw is the MSA200: https://www.stihl.com/STIHL-power-t...ainsaws/22116-1508/MSA-200-C-B-tool-only.aspx

I got it for working on bike trail stuff. I can break it down and it will fit in a backpack and makes no noise in the woods which can be very important. It may take a while and an extra battery but it will cut some good size logs.

My favorite Stihl item in the shed tho is the telescopic pole with arbor saw attachment. I can keep most of my trees trimmed up nicely with this setup. https://www.stihlusa.com/products/pole-pruners/pole-pruner-accessories/ps80/
