Since no project is ever complete - 6.0 going in this week. I just want to be able to tow a little easier. I'll also be doing OME shocks / springs and stabilizer and a sals rear with discs this summer.
Nick offers both weld in & bolt in mounts, you’d have to contact him directly to confirm if your chassis was suitable for bolt in type.So, what's involved in mounting the motor on a Defender frame? My frame is galvanized. How would the motor mounts be welded on? Is it do-able?
There's nothing wrong with my 300 Tdi but I've daydreamed about an LS while putting across Kansas at 55-60 and showing up half-deaf.
lq4 out of a 2004 Yukon Denali replacing a 1999 LR4 4.8 out of a Silverado. 250hp vs 325hp or so? But with the ls1 intake I really have no idea so.... it’s bigger and at $650 it’s a cheap bolt in power upgrade.What's the 6.0 out of and what's the spec difference?
Chris, I forget, do you have another Defender you are working on, or are you asking this stuff in regards to swapping the engine in your current vehicle?
