No brush guard for me. I need to be able to sit on the bumper.

I don’t follow any Grenadier specific forums, and maybe some of you do so you already know, but I found this post about an article that says production was delayed due to supply chain issues with a few parts. They expect to begin production later this month.

One of the worst environments for a new car company ever.
Because of their KISS approach, as bad as they have it, other companies are worse off because of supply issues.
Ineos always was going to suffer delays getting to market. Murphy's law. New company new product new distribution.

I stumbled over this video. A German couple does a test ride at a fair in Germany.

It’s not worth it watching, but the Ineos rep in it says the front bumper is plastic, on the EU spec cars, and metal on the US ones.

Has anyone heard that before?

The vehicle in North America making all the tour circuit is still the light blue one, right? Super early prototype. I'm still happy with my reservation. Keeping my old '85 110 also! Still a forever truck as well.

I assume it’s the light blue truck that they showed in Colorado

how much do you think buy time you pay? Can’t really find that. $50k-150k is a huge range….

It's good they aren't releasing pricing details yet. They would get negative publicity if they had to raise prices after they told customers a lower price initially, like other manufacturers have had to lately.
Let's hope there's some wisdom in that German couples video HERE that Ineos will take a bit of a loss for the first year or two rather than shoot themselves in the foot right out of the gate by aiming for instant profits.

It's losing money at a horrid rate..... and prices are definitely rising.

I always hate it when a "news site" wastes thousands of words over-emphasizing something that is a simple straightforward fact. It's hard to make a profit until you sell a product. And Ineos has supply issues like everyone else at the moment. Not much they can do.

Yes, supply is a problem. Chips are a problem everywhere, and I'd bet a nickel the wiring harnesses are made in Ukraine.

And Ineos, as the new guy on the block, probably doesn't have a lot of muscle to throw around against some of the others...
