What suspension and tires do you have? I'm running 235/85 on Medium Duty TF

I'm concerned that if I run 255/85 the truck will not move that great.

Pedro,

I have a stock suspension currently, with 285/75 tires. I have a 2" TF Heavy Duty lift kit that I will be installing (hopefully) shortly.

The rear corner protectors are from TerraFirma, although they have the "M" logo cut into the area above the holes, as you said.

Kool. The suspension for me is always an easy install.

If you can... I suggest getting new rings or isolators.

I painted various pieces for my 2nd row seats and started putting dynamat over the seat box. Will do a full post later.

That truck bed coating is really nice and holds up well. I sadly got some on my nicely painted garage floor but it should wear off with some scrubbing.

After tinkering with this project for what seems like months I feel like I actually accomplished something.

Looks great...

I bought the roll on version and am waiting for the warm weather to do it.

Did the paint made it hard to screw back the bolts? That 4th picture looks like it made it in the threads.

Actually no I put the screws back in to check. I think I did 4 coats and the screws went it just fine by hand turning them.

I was planning on powder coating a bunch of stuff in the fall and figured I would do this as a temporary fix to make it somewhat nice. I'll see how it holds up before I decide to spend the money on powder coat.

Thanks

Sweet.

I personally don't like PC... if it gets nicked, you are toast. My sliders and rear bumper corners are powder coated and the paint is flaking... right out of the box.

With this, you can "re-touch".

Mall crawl fix

Fixed a leaking banjo bolt while delivering my free wheel to NewfD90. Nice to have a fellow Rover owner being around to troubleshoot the leak. Also a good reason to have a multipurpose tool in the truck.

Replaced the Tithonus top, looks much better now in my opinion, now I just have to match the wheels to the top.

Lots of stuff done since I purchased late last year...

- Tune up (Plugs, wires, distributor, cap & rotor; engine, transmission, transfer box and diff oil replaced; air, oil & fuel filters replaced)
- New Battery
- Repaired bulkhead corners and repainted
- Repainted rear crossmember, front bumper, side steps, hinges, side mirrors/arms, head light surrounds, grill, etc.

Now do I sell?

You're still not finished yet. You need new front heated seats, 60/40 middle seats and tuffy console. Then you're done.

Started mounting 2nd row seat brackets.

Undercoated new seat box and tranny cover.

Finally!! No more ripped belt loops on my pants. Why have I waited so long to install these little beauties?

Who makes them?

Why would they prevent torn belt loops. Don't they stink out so they could still catch your pants?

The Porsche Panamera's armrest extends to the B-Pillar and that caught my pants pocket and made a pretty big rip. Now have nice cargo pants with a nice vent down the side. Can't wear them in public though.

They are made by X Eng, but carried by Britpart and a fair amount of others. They don't have the lip on the end of the striker, so in theory, your belt loop should slide off (or not be so easily caught).

Thanks.

Did you put these on all 4 doors or just the fronts?
