These also exist, although one that would do 3 tubes would be useful…

they have a mounting hole which is handy.

If you want to secure two pipes/hoses the LR way, check out:

DCP3969L is interesting because it swivels to allow pipes/hoses that cross in different directions like John's case. LR had many more clips for nearly any situation. You'll see quite a few by browsing LRWorkshop's clutch hose, brake line, and fuel line diagrams.

I am on about headlights now (I blame Frank).

Apparently Land Rover is using these LED headlights on their “new” builds.

749UKP though …. BUT THEY ARE GERMAN SO THEY MUST BE GOOD

An observation... not all LEDs are created equally, even the pricey ones. For instance, I fitted these to my Dad's Wrangler:

I hated them for two reasons: (1) there was a definite delay between hitting the high beam switch and them actually dipping... this was only about a half-second, but interminable when trying to not blind an oncoming motorist (without being too long-winded, this may be an issue with the Jeep itself, as our 2017 horn also makes me crazy because there's a half-second delay from hitting the horn and hearing it... leading me to especially like the concept of the 'toot horn' on the Grenadier. But I digress); and (2) the beam pattern is even more defined than the Hella VIsion Plus, with no light whatsoever being emitted above the cut-off... makes for inadequate seeming lighting unless the high beams were on and even then, as I recall, there was a gap. I was not impressed with how costly they were (at the time, the total bill was almost $1,000.00 - they came down since).

I have them in a box somewhere in my garage... I'd be happy to ship them to you for test fitting if you like, and will happily part ways for minimal reimbursement should you wish to keep.

The driver door always felt a bit flimsy (some give) when I pull the door to close. Then, a few weeks ago, I couldn't unlock with key from outside.
The key couldn't unlock bc the plastic lock pull housing was broken. Replacing that let me unlock from outside again.
The metal plate inside the door was missing a couple bolts. The bolt closest to door latch mech broke from rust, so i drilled that out and replaced with new fasteners. The screw hole on the window felt guide (bottom of the door) was no good - hole much bigger than the screw head. So, prob need to replace the guide if I want it fixed. But another project for another day.
Replaced all the plastic "christmas tree" door clips and put the card back on. Replaced to a new door pull handle as well.

The original plastic sheet behind door card was falling apart. So, I tossed it in the dumpster. I may replace that with a Tyvek another time.

Thanks VT that is very generous of you, but I would like something stockish looking and the JW are black. I see people fit LED bulbs to hella H4 anyone have any experience with that?

PS you definitely want the plastic there if you value your door cards.

From the experts at CPF
Only very few of the "LED bulbs" for non-headlamp/non-foglamp use available on the market work safely and effectively; most of them are unsafe junk. The ones FOR headlamp/foglamp use are ALL unsafe junk. We will not argue this point.

Here is an thorough test of LED vs Halogen:

Shovel does not fit (but the shovel is excellent!). I sort of want to cut the t-handle part off so it will fit but the shovel is too nice. Hmmm.

Replaced the faulting alternator from the OM617 swap with a newer 70a unit. Cleaned some wiring the PO made and getting a full 14.2v when running. Driving it daily and enjoying it

I’ll just come tailgate you with my brights on. Not in a Rover, something else that has bright brights and I won’t risk burning my headlight switch.
Should get the Morimoto 2stroke LEDs I’m running.

I made it fit. But I need a shovel with less of an angle, does anyone know who made the shovel for camel trophy circa 1988-1991? It has a black metal d handle and black spade (PS the one I got from Zack is excellent and very well made, I just want the one with the flatter profile).

Thanks. The head looks right. Maybe the older ones had the D handle. I will measure against the one I got from RN (which is very nice and made by Carters).

The clips are great but the break and disappear. Zip ties are cheap and an incredibly easy fix.

That's why I sent you the shovel mounting kit instead of the shovel. Zero fitment issues

She has enough holes. Lol. I almost kept it, I still may not get my refund on that and the 21 windscreen hinge gaskets unless the GF runs to the UPS store ….

Added some Exmoor canvas seat covers. Nothing wrong with the leather underneath just better for camping and off road… really brightens up the interior.

I fixed the lights, I got rid of the washers on the rear 5th door hinges and put a gasket in on one that did not have it. I had messed the lights up. Frank had them working, but she knew I said bad things about the LED so she acted up. I hate wiring. GF went to UPS store to return the package, but it cost me a sushi lunch and an organic grocery store trip, but she did confirm the reverse light was working.

My next project is some sort of wiring cover that works with the camel trophy cage.
