Snapped some bolts studs the other day trying to change out front shocks, @WreckITFrank to the rescue with a set of galvy towers and rings.

Finally got the shocks/towers/rings on today. The ride quality is dramatic. I should have done this months ago.

This is actually how I take these off on purpose now. I always order a set of rings and always break off every single stud on purpose. So much easier than actually trying to remove the rusty ones!

How’d you ship it? How much?
I had KDLR/ Marsland organize all the shipping and importation documents. The fixture they made for it is better quality than most land rover parts themselves. For shipping to the states I would guess it is a bit more than what I paid, but probably not too much more. KDLR could quote it for you.

This shipment was just under $800, including export and import fees.

I calibrated my fuel gauge...by running out of diesel on I-20 in Weatherford, TX. It turns out that if the needle just touches the red, that’s empty. Fortunately just a half a mile to a Harbor Freight for a fuel can and a short walk to Shell. A mother, daughter and granddaughter gave me a lift back to the truck.

And then I learned how to prime the fuel pump on my new Cummins.

Destroyed my pitman arm puller. 4ft cheater bar, heat, and BFH were all no match for this inseparable pair. Bigger puller on the way for round three.

Recently had the same issue with my 110. After watching this video I decided to purchase the Laser Tools puller.

Perhaps a bit expensive, but it easily removed my drop arm without breaking.

Laser Tools part number 6664, Steering Drop Arm Puller, Land Rover 57.5mm.

I have the opposite problem, when the needle wont go any further to the left I could have as much as 2.5 gallons left in the tank

Took the bumper off & tank down to replace the faulty c113 connector at pump.

I'll have to keep the fuel gauge calibrating in mind when I refill the tank to note where the needle falls at various points.

Thanks to @WreckITFrank for making me a connector with pigtail.

Finally pulled the tank out of my D90 to find the fuel leak. The pump itself has cracked where the rusted lines go into the housing. Also noticed that the Genuine vent hose I installed 3 or 4 years ago is already very cracked.

Found out today my Split Charge Relay being 29 years old does not like to get wet from overzealous rinsing and spray into the left hand wing vent

Pitman arm wins again, but not without suffering a flesh wound.

Sheared the gripping ear right off. Tried grinding both ears smooth to grip arm from the base, but there isn't enough room to fit this larger puller. Not giving up yet.

You can try a couple of large punches as wedges. It will mar the box pretty badly but will definitely get the arm off

Another puller, better clamping, even longer breaker bar, two torches.

The champ remains undefeated. This thing isn't coming off without damaging it. Time to buy another box.

This is the style I use to remove them. First I put the part of the arm that goes over the shaft on the anvil of my vise and hit it with a bfh a few times. Always gets them off.

Rover pitman arms use the same size nut as early chrysler products

I do have another arm, but it's the box I wanted for rebuilding. However, between this and some other things I don't like about this particular box, it's not worth continuing when I can pick up another box for cheap.

Noticing mushrooming of both the box and puller shaft ends got me wondering how much force was being applied. Based on estimated torque applied, it calculated out to roughly 35,000lbs.
