Didn't your kit come with a new gasket and studs and nuts ?Can I reuse the metal gasket under the turbo?
We did the same.I purchased the Allisport kit and the only issue I ran into was the drain fitting they supply did not fit my truck. I had to cut off the fitting from the original drain line and use that. Shipping on the kit from them was pretty fast.

I just used a Dremel with a cutoff wheel, and carefully cut the metal clamp on the OE pipe. Once the clamp is off the old hose will pull off and leave a fitting similar to what came in the kit. Also, you may need a longer drain hose because the OE fitting is a little shorter. I believe it was 5/8" that I used. This is what came in my kit
the second picture shows the drain line, which threads on but it seems the thread on it are too deep as the metal hose part never tightens up, it spins even when fully tight.
How did you cut the old one off and use it?
YepSo replace this hose and tee off it?
Ain't nothin cheap from Moreland HoseIt sucks to spend an extra $38
Thats why its silicone, withstands heat better. We reused the original bottom fitting, simply cut the original crimp with a dremel to harvest the fitting and used the supplied hose clamps with new hose to affix. 5 mins.Got this in today, almost.
I’m a little concerned that silicone hose on the return pipe is pretty close to the exhaust?
Other than that and the issue with the fittings I had the other day, it was pretty straight forward, at least that’s what my professional mechanic said.
I haven’t driven it yet, due to an issue with the turbo making contact with the master cylinder
