You can reuse the gasket just make sure that both surfaces are clean of rust and garbage. Hit it with some red Scotch brite prior to reinstall.

Can also use that port to do the boost gauge if you choose to but it is metric straight thread so it can be challenging to find a fitting.
I prefer to use this t line fitting You can install in between the actuator and the turbo port . The rubber hose that is now it on the turbo.

I like this fitting because it will work with the fitting that already comes with the boost gauge.

FYI the rubber hose that they use to create these VNT turbos totally sucks ass. Replace it with some high-quality vacuum tubing in clamps because it will pop off.

I've added this to my truck and a couple of the local trucks that I've tuned

So replace this hose and tee off it?

I purchased the Allisport kit and the only issue I ran into was the drain fitting they supply did not fit my truck. I had to cut off the fitting from the original drain line and use that. Shipping on the kit from them was pretty fast.

This is what came in my kit

the second picture shows the drain line, which threads on but it seems the thread on it are too deep as the metal hose part never tightens up, it spins even when fully tight.

How did you cut the old one off and use it?

I just used a Dremel with a cutoff wheel, and carefully cut the metal clamp on the OE pipe. Once the clamp is off the old hose will pull off and leave a fitting similar to what came in the kit. Also, you may need a longer drain hose because the OE fitting is a little shorter. I believe it was 5/8" that I used.

Hi Andy

It seems their has been a machining op missed from TT as these are a modified off the shelf part and have the nut/thread trimmed back.

Either that or this customer does have an odd fitting on his block.

You can go back to him and explain that he can trim the part him self with a soft sanding pad or grinding disc to allow it to tighten up ensuring that he cleans all swarf away before fitting of course.

Kind Regards Pete Bell

If you mean the one in the pic by itself, you can have mine. I just got an almost identical setup that will work from a local hose place

I got this setup to sort it all out.

It sucks to spend an extra $38, but it didn’t seem like the manufacturer was going to do anything to remedy the situation.

Has anyone with a 200 been able to use the original piece with their install?

Got this in today, almost.

I’m a little concerned that silicone hose on the return pipe is pretty close to the exhaust?

Other than that and the issue with the fittings I had the other day, it was pretty straight forward, at least that’s what my professional mechanic said.

I haven’t driven it yet, due to an issue with the turbo making contact with the master cylinder

Thats why its silicone, withstands heat better. We reused the original bottom fitting, simply cut the original crimp with a dremel to harvest the fitting and used the supplied hose clamps with new hose to affix. 5 mins.
We did play with the hose length a bit, and preload/twist to get maximum clearance for the return line from turbo and manifold but its quite quick and easy. Not sure how you have a master cyl clearance issue unless you have gone with some custom setup.
