TD5 ABS Retrofit

I was looking at bulkhead harnesses to see what's available from Land Rover still and I noticed there are 300Tdi harnesses equipped with ABS (except they're now NLA), so ABS did come from the factory on some 300Tdi Defenders.

I also noticed that the ABS ECU expects an engine speed signal that is 2 pulses per revolution. My 6 cylinder engine ECU should output 3 pulses per revolution. So I ordered a tachometer adapter to convert it to 2 pulses per revolution. Otherwise the ABS ECU will think the engine is running 1.5X faster than it is. I hope that works well.

This one is on sale for Labor Day.

It looks like if you have an LS engine you don't need to convert the signal because it outputs 2 pulses per revolution like a 4 cylinder engine (and the Td5).

I also wanted to verify if the throttle position signal output from the BMW M52/S52 MS41 ECM is compatible. It looks like it is, but I haven't tested it yet. According to Land Rover the ABS ECU expects a pulse-width modulated signal from the ECM. According to a document from BMW (linked below) the MS41 ECM throttle position signal (DKI) is a pulse-width modulated signal.

Hello.
I have a 300 TDI and would like to add abs and traction control in the future.
My idea is not to splice the original harness, but to replace it with a new one that has connectors for ABS.
Until now, the information I had was that there was no 300TDI with abs as standard.
Can anyone tell me for sure what the abs wiring harness code is?
If not, what is the code for the most complete wiring harness available for the TD5? Could it be used in the 300TDI?

Would be a cool update to get Traction Control and ABS, probably easiest on the '97 NAS 90, since it had the wheel speed sensors from the factory..

But also something else to go wrong, so..

FWIW the ABS modulator is the exact same in late 90s and early 2000s Cadillac and Hummers and is much less spendy than a LR unit. They are identical.

That's great information. From what you've said, they are compatible. Can you tell me which model and where I can buy one of these?
I need a starting point
