It boggles my mind you went to a LR dealership at all. X2 on go to Ford. No way in hell any LR dealer here has ever seen much less worked on Td4's
I work on them at Land Rover Manhattan. The diagnostic tool and workshop manual is the same for the US and ROW. Most recent one was a 2.4 that had a defective Britpart fuel filter, as well as a defective replacement Britpart filter. A new Genuine filter was in stock in the Pennsylvania warehouse and we had it the next day.
I wouldn't take one to a LR dealer (or any shop for that matter) expecting same day service since they aren't common trucks here.
