yup. Basically planning to pull the top in the summer and just drive on nice days - it'll be going back on before my beach trip in September. If I need a new set of rubber seals once a year, I don't think that's a huge deal.

Don't forget, you will need a second set of door seals as well. One set you run with the top on (already have) and you'll need another set for the bulkhead and tub behind the seats of running top off.

No guarantee just by putting the top in with a new seal at the end of the summer that it's not going to leak. Best when ordering your roof seals to order a couple at a time... they don't always work well. Plus... DumDum get a box to seal the roof to the windscreen. http://proformproducts.com/en/products/sealers/rubberized-sealers/dum-dum-strip-caulk/

Very nice looking 90!!

Thank you! And thanks for the heads up.

Are the door seals actually needed if running topless? I assumed I could just run without. If not, I'll pick up a set, thanks

Technically, I suppose you could go without seals on the doors... but why would you?

Yes - so the doors won't rattle your nerves away.

but you will want to cut them so that they are only the bottom sections front and rear (bulkhead, and b-pillar body section)

we put up used sets all the time for just that purpose - take offs that have the upper corners or front bend shot are perfect for trimming and fitting topless
