My injection pump started leaking. Does anyone know ballpark what I should expect to pay for the rebuild, and of a shop stateside who could rebuild it?

$600 by a Bosch shop with the latest viton seals etc. You can propably get a reman unit rebuilt by an old crone in an Eastern Europe sweat shop with bubble gum for seals and zero piece of mind for less from one of the UK parts pimps.

Ask for Elton. He's your point of contact and is a Rover guy. He has an immaculate 109 with 200 tdi in it
and daily drives a 98 D1.

The best i can tell is that it is leaking from the rectangle shaped seal below the throttle actuator. Its leaking like a sieve.
I have gotten a few questions as to where to find the o-ring repair kit. Here is the link. They also sell other seal kits.

I may buy a reman and try replacing the seal myself. There is a $300 spread on a reman vs having mine rebuilt.

This kit may be all you need to reseal your leak. I would check for compatibility before you buy it.

Low sulphur fuel wreaks havoc with 1990's seals never designed for the stuff we are forced to run here.

For that price I'd dive into my own pump, looks like the best available seals.

I have been licking my eyebrows on doing a cummins 2.8 swap, so I didn't really want to shell out the coin on a ip anyway. I ordered the reseal kit. I'll post how it goes.

Come mess your world up completely and drive one. Will have a finished one in NYC later this month and one in Wisconsin in early 2020. Not sure how accomodating those owners will be on test drives but they both share the enthusiasm. Have one from Philly that we are doing for another shop soon, one from Tenn for an airline Capt, and another one for Seattle to do first quarter.

Keith, hadn't even thought that far ahead. Sept is a long way off. Kraig plans to be @ Moab and will bring Greystone. Given the expected attendance we may take a yet to be built display 110 or 130 out and leave one of the offroad 90's home, need to give that some thought.
