Blue ridge rebuilt mine for a 300tdi and the work was immaculate. Looked like new and perfectly sealed. Works great and set to factory spec.

For $19 plus shipping why wouldn't you try it. Worst case scenario you toss all the parts into a big Ziplock and ship it to Blue Ridge. I have had many a bag of gun parts dropped off for me to reassemble when things went south on the reassembly.

That's hilarious. I don't think it gets any easier than a Sten.

Where is it leaking? I did the big rear o-ring this year and everything is awesome now.

I just did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Its pretty easy to do. The instructions that come with the kit are not quite the same, but pretty easy to follow.

Come mess your world up completely and drive one. Will have a finished one in NYC later this month and one in Wisconsin in early 2020. Not sure how accomodating those owners will be on test drives but they both share the enthusiasm. Have one from Philly that we are doing for another shop soon, one from Tenn for an airline Capt, and another one for Seattle to do first quarter.
I would love to. How does it feel under your accelerator foot?

It looks like it is leaking from underneath the accelerator actuator assembly but it is a little difficult to tell. I think I pour more diesel on the ground than through the engine. I still get 15mpg.

I have removed a 200tdi pump and disassembled on the bench to the point of having the top cover off.

It went back together with no fuss. there are some very good videos on youtube if you search for Bosch VE pump. Cummins diesels and VWs used this same pump prolifically and there is a ton of tech info to be found.

I've attached below the 66-page Bosch technical manual on VE pumps (this has way too much information, but some of you may find it interesting).

I got in the kit with the seals, and the pump apart. I may be in over my head, but the kit did not come with a seal that is appropriate for replacement of the one that is leaking on my pump. I think I am going to bag it up and let a pro work on it.
