Spent a great deal of time doing research here in this community and ultimately made a vehicle purchase back in August of 2023 with the help of @courage-automotive .

Here on the East Coast I had my challenges finding a unit that was in original condition and lacked the rust that plagues some; although you can make repairs I was focused on finding the most original unit I could. Stateside during the summer of 2023 such a vehicle was commanding high prices in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s and they still came with two to three owners which led me down the path of importing my own with help from @courage-automotive
If you are intimidated by importing a vehicle on your own just pause for a moment and reach out to @courage-automotive. They source their vehicles from southern Spain which puts you ahead of any vehicle that is here stateside - think dry, arid climate, salt free roads resulting in mint bulkheads and clean doors! Piers takes his time to source high quality examples, and what he describes is exactly what you're going to receive. We communicated for a couple weeks sharing videos and photos of the vehicle until I was entirely confident. To boot he has solid connections with transport groups in Spain / Gibraltar and seamlessly got the vehicle to port in Belgium without issue delay. He also has a law firm stateside to represent the vehicle as it passes through customs/EPA/Homeland security.

I’m 350 miles into my journey with the truck and have no regrets. I’ve spent my time changing all the fluids and the cam belt is next!
