Narrow:
* Outer diameter: 51.00mm
* Outer length: 38.00mm
* Inner diameter: 16.00mm
* Inner length: 47.00mm

Wide:
* Outer diameter: 50.50mm
* Outer length: 44.30mm
* Inner diameter: 16.20mm
* Inner length: 54.00mm

Sorry to resurrect I am having a bit of difficulty discerning what these dimensions mean.

Can anyone throw a tape on their disco 1 or wide type arms to check the axle slot width?

Would it be 54MM? seems like some of the bushings have outer rubber as well. I ordered a set of the wider arms and it appears I have at least a 5mm space between my current arms and the side of the mount

Whats the width of the slot on your axle side backet ?

right around 54mm, I can't find my caliper... I will try and post a picture of the gap. Actually looks like one of the axle casing mounts was bent in to make up some of the space.

Lemme grab a picture

The bracket is thin and the bolt will compress the bracket to the ends of the steel inner bolt tube on the bushing if correctly matched. The one below is an example of what not to do.

Here's a shot of an what Hobson industries (company that handled the Tithonus bondo 'em up contract for the MOD) did on a Tithonus FFR truck. Late axle housing set up for the 94 up wider arms but they put the damn narrow radius arms back in. Still dont get why people were hot on Tithonus trucks- they are some of the biggest steaming piles I've worked on. This late 24 spline axle housing was of course fitted with 10 spline diff and axles.

Bumping this back up. So I can’t find the serial number on my front axle (yet), my radius arms measure ~38mm wide but judging by the way these brackets are bent in, is this another example of narrow arms “made to fit” on a later wide housing?

Indeed - knock them back open and put in the correct arms or at least shim them so that the inner spacer is tight against the axle bracket without the steep bends!
