Is it just me but have not been able to log onto Dsource for sometime?

They keep modifying their software for what I'm guessing is for further commercialization. The have also blocked "NAS-ROW.com" from being posted on their site. Petty and childish but hey it is their site and their rules. Please keep spreading the word about our little corner of the internet. Ad free, spyware free and if we could serve free food and beer we would.

I suspect that they are in the middle of migrating it to Vertical Scope's servers in preparation for whatever VS is going to do with the site.
I quit posting over there. I don't want anybody profiting from my knowledge. I'm happy to help anybody but it needs to be here, in my driveway or on the side of the road.

The wealth of archived information available on search over there is going to take a while to build up here.
It's too bad there isn't a cross over, but with more Defenders coming into the US, there will be new owners (like myself) asking questions.
New answers to the same old questions will be searched for here (without the - "Try a search before you ask." response that can turn off new forum users).

Adblock? Or if you're a grandfathered member?
Even grandfathered members (I am one) get ads, though less of them. He must be running AdBlock. Doesn't stop their advertisers from doing analysis on your posts, however, and associating your writing to you. D90 (like all forums) has your e-mail address and your IP and that's more than enough for an ad network to target you even with AdBlock. If your posts mention some consumer product, you might end up seeing Amazon promote that product when you visit their homepage.
It's also possible for a site owner to serve up ads in a way that they don't trigger the adblock. I see this often on Vertical Scope sites. I'm a member of CumminsForum.com and even with uBlock Origin installed, I still get some ads if they're being served by the site directly instead of a known ad network. It's shitty.
