This engine never went into any British 109s.
A perspective buyer emailed me asking about doing an engine conversion thinking it had a Land Rover 6 cylinder engine.
In order to do an engine conversion, the transmission belhousing or possibly the entire transmission would have to be swapped as well as new motor mounts welded onto the frame.
I advised the perspective buyer to stay away from it at half the price.
