Anyone know of in stock 7.50 x 16 BFG MTs somewhere? Everyone lists them at $225 each shipped but no stock.

Hey Ron, for a guy who said he "was only going to do 3 things to that truck then drive it every day", you sure seem to be doing an lot of work to it. Are the tabs painted yet?;)

Ha. @Angus i allotted one weekend of work. I have a few hours in that left, I have been working nights because it is so hot so no one full weekend of work in a stretch. The tabs are not painted (yet), and I may actually put in new bolts in the crossmember tabs as everything is cooperating after I paint them (I do have the can of paint and a brush ready to go on my kitchen counter).

Oh, and I was never planning on driving her every day. She is on the 1000 mile a year plan like most of my stuff.

She is nice enough that she may get a second weekend where I swap the bulkhead with one of my galvanized ones, but I have not decided on that v. the white duct style gorilla tape, but that is well down the road and I would need a helper.

I dug out my XPCs. They are like 15 years old. View attachment 24712

I will get some BFG 7.5x 16 but I will not pay more than $225 shipped. Or I will convert everything to disc hubs and run boosts. But for now I have tires (I did nearly die getting them out haha). And the corner of the other chassis is being held up by my HF jack until someone comes by to give me a hand.
These XPCs really had good tread pattern.
I used to grab whatever XPC people would ditch - until all of them became really old and sun-damaged.

Thankfully these were new take offs that I ran for a year on an LWB so no cracking or anything. I got her up to 140kph and she was smooth so I am probably going to hold off on the BFG MT for a while.

Walmart has them in stock for $215 shipped. Seems like everyone has stock now. 4 wheel parts etc.

Of course I nearly killed myself taking the Michelins off the NAS110 so I am not going to bother with them now ….

Also, how do I know if my 5.5in wheels or wolfs are tubed or tubeless?
Wolf wheels:
ANR5593 - Tubed
ANR4583 - Tubeless

Tubeless rims have a defined bead seat:

Thanks! I will check the PN on the wheels. Do you have the 5.5in part numbers? Did anyone ever make a reproduction NAS110 wheel that’s tubeless? Roversnorth or someone needs to do that. I will not run tubed wheels ….

They make them in batches. To get my 255/85-15 KM3, I had to order them from Tire rack, wait three months and they showed up
Have you tried ordering?

Nakatenga or whatever reproduced them, but in 8" wide for some reason. I have it on good authority that a local source is coming out with repros

I can only imagine a 7" version of that Naka wheel with the right offset would absolutely crush it. 8" is just too wide.

Not really for a 255/85... they work fine, I have been running them for a years and a good bit of off-road at 15psi, no issues. the 0 offset is perfect for the truck as well gives you about an 1" or so on either side of added track.

you mean the 8" from Naka, or the 6.5?

I ran the 255/85s on my D2 which had 8" wide wheels. Yes, they'll definitely work, but they dont look quite right, they dont have the "bulge"

The Nak 8" wheels (DOT version from SDO)...
Zak is correct - they don't have the bulge, and are really made for 285 or 315mm tires, but work fine with a 255mm, I would not go smaller on the tires with them though.

I want 6.5in Tubeless NAS110 wheels and want to run 235 85 R16 or these BFG MT 7.5x16

I sold multiple sets of the original NAS 110 wheels dirt cheap back in the day because I don’t want tubed wheels.

What makes you say that? Also, how do I know if my 5.5in wheels or wolfs are tubed or tubeless?

Now that I look again, I think I was wrong. I was surprised they ever released a tire in that size since very few people are familiar with it, less use it. When I started seeing it go out of stock in 7.5R16 and seeing it in-stock in 235/85R16 I assumed they were transitioning it to a more widely understood size designation. However, 235/85R16 is now shown as discontinued on several sites, so it may have just been a batch production issue like rocky mentioned.

Walmart appears to have 7.5R16 in stock currently. https://www.walmart.com/ip/BFGoodri...-All-Season-7-50R16-E-116-112Q-Tire/899552955

As for "standard" wheels, you could get ANR5593 (Wolf, tubeless, vented) that are 6.5x16 ET20.6 (results in slightly wider track width), or ANR4636 (factory wheels, tubeless, non-vented) that are 5.5x16 ET33. Both can be found in black primed, white, and limestone.

I know, I mentioned Walmart above, but I want NAS110 looking wheels that are tubeless and want these 7.5x16 tires.

I have so many Land Rover wheels it’s nuts. I like the disco I steelies the best, but a solid wheel like a NAS110 would look the part on a 110.

Right now the “new” 110 is on tubeless 5.5 with Michelin XPC’s.
