    Rover V8 Powered Airplane???

I’d be worried the rapid pressure alt change would slip a liner.

    Finally Drove One

I see a few in the Bend area every time I drive through. Every other month or so. Rarely see them on this side of the mountains.

    Grenadier

I have the BMW X5 with the diesel. It's amazing. I wish it could be in the Grenadier..... And the price point, I think I mentioned $80k at base a few weeks back as my guess. Too bad I was right. I guess I'll be keeping the G-Wagon, maybe getting a used Defender for my daily when the G is too...

Looks like it is well done, even if it isn't original. I'd take it!

    Camel For Sale

I'd think this ad was a fraud if it wasn't actually at a Land Rover dealership: https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/ctd/d/bellevue-1989-land-rover-defender-110/7326921338.html Anyone know anything about this truck? I'm not looking to buy, but it's always good to keep track of these things!

    Grenadier

I was actually thinking the same thing a few days ago.

    Grenadier

I think I picked up the differences in the newest videos. In other words, when I watched the earlier videos, and saw pics and renderings of the early test vehicles, I wasn’t impressed with the looks. Hopeful, but not interested. But with the latest batch of actual driving test vehicles, not...

    Grenadier

I think some beefy headlight guards would finish off the look a bit. It kind of reminds me of a Santana. Did you get a look underneath?

    Grenadier

Still about 8 years faster than Land Rover from took from the DC100 to New Defender.

    Grenadier

Yeah. When my G (1998) gets too old, even the Merc quality will be difficult to keep on the road without getting annoying. I plan on watching the new Defenders for my daily driver -- when they do a facelift, and if the long term reviews are good -- or getting something like an early 2000s G. Any...

    Grenadier

It's looking better all the time. Something about the new prototypes make it look more... something. Acceptable? I had to sell my Defender to get my G, and everything about the Grenadier says: Looks like a Defender, built like a GWagen. So maybe it really is the car for my future. ...I just hope...

    Finally Drove One

Actually, that’s one thing I failed to mention. This one that I drove did have the nanny turned on, and I put it to the test. It did not like when I cam up on a painted traffic line at speed, not lined up in a “safe” manor. It steered for me....... I’m pretty sure you can turn it off, but...

    Finally Drove One

This seems a pretty good comparison. Many of the reviews have had stupid obstacle tests, but this one looks fairly challenging. And they put the two cars through in pretty much the same way. The Defender does not have the rear diff in this video. I like how this guy just casually chats all the...

    Finally Drove One

Exactly. I really don't like the baby Bronco. It looks to have some good innovative features, but.... When the new Bronco comes out, I'll be looking to compare it to the Jeep. Land Rover has moved the Defender over a slot.
