Land Rovers That Suck

The Ford Flex was developed during the time they owned Rover, and there's some similarity to the LR3, and now the new Def.
One sad thing about the new 130 is the reduced departure angle since they extended the cabin but not the wheelbase.

The new 90 is probably the best of the three. But done up like this, it deserves to be here 75th Anniversary edition

Maybe it will look better in person? Yet probably not. Never really liked matching wheel color to body color other than white to white steelies.

I'm confused. Is it supposed to remind me of the 80", the Series trucks originally painted a similar color, the factory Heritage Edition or all the knock-offs?
What made the body-colored alloys some RRC's had so cool was the unpainted polished edge of the rim. Hard to duplicate at home. Too subtle for JLR's whiz kids to catch I guess.
It could have been worse. They could've painted the bumpers green too. (Or black)
I have the original color still on my 109. It's nice, just a bit faded. The popular modern variations meet with mixed success for any number of reasons, imo. There are a lot of them, tho. It can look like the inside of a hospital room. And when there's too much of it, as in this case, it can feel like it too.

Not sure they are all an actual match, considering how many different whites Rover's used, and that most steelies were painted an off white (Limestone). Not much of a noticeable difference, but a difference that's proven to work aesthetically. Body colored wheels are hard to pull off.

This is what I was thinking. Not sure if exactly same as body color yet white to white.

Hard no on both of your maybes. Definitely agree otherwise

One challenge with color matched wheels is getting the color right when the body paint has faded over time. This appears to be an issue with the Arles truck. Other times when stark white pops too much, they might be better off with a more creamy white, or just black.
