Cost for dif gear swap?

How the hell can they do that for $65 shipped. Between Ebay fee's and the cost of shipping something bulky and heavy like that. Crazy.

Would I need anything else besides a front carrier? I'd have a shop perform the install so I'd rely on them for fluids, etc.

Yeah, $65 shipped is a deal.
The last 3rd I shipped cost me $52 Fedex to Idaho I think.
BostonDave, you actually don't want a "rear" like that one pictured because it has a Rotoflex flange.
You really just want 2 fronts, or a front and rear that has regular u-joint flanges.
A D90 has a regular driveshaft.
Some Discoverys had a Rotoflex rear shaft.
Hope that isn't confusing.
You could also check with some of the parts resellers here like Crown14/Joel, Will Tillery, Randy Williams....

I have 2 that are originally from 97 Defender 90's. Both have under 30K original miles. One has some nicks in the ring teeth that I have doubts will affect performance. I was saving them in case I ever go back to stock. PM me if you are interested. They are in buckets and ready to drop off to the shipper or maybe Fastenal is cheaper.

I believe I have a pair of open diffs out of a D1 that I'm happy to give to a good home, I'll check tonight and post back but I'm 99% sure I saw them a month ago when I cleaned my garage.
