WTB: 36 Spline Steering Wheel

Early Discovery wheels will work. I have one on my truck and its not a bad option.

What is it that you dislike? If it's the grip/feel maybe look into a good leather wrap. I like the size/look of the early 80's wheel. Simple as the rest of the truck and wears like a telephone booth.

At risk of thread drift, I keep thinking about going with a smaller steering wheel. Need to straighten my leg for better comfort. My wheel is a 48 spline type so I can't help you.

Its the feel, grip, and size that I don't like. I think the truck would feel a lot better with a slightly smaller, leather wheel.

I agree with you. I had a NAS type steering wheel ready weeks before my truck showed up. Old one was removed within an hour of getting it home. I was tempted to swap it at the port before driving home. See if you can find the OEM leather wheel, it's awesome.

Where did you source yours? That's ideally what I'm after and I have been unsuccessful in my attempts thus far...

A member on the other site was selling it in the classifieds. I had been looking for that for months. I had a regular one before that I got the same way. Hot commodity.

That's the Range Rover model the early Discovery wheels have no buttons.
