Why is my clutch pedal squeaking?

It’s pretty common for the pivot point to get corroded. Have you tried lubricating it?
I have honestly never seen one that eventually didn't start squeaking. As the man who" rolls with his kitty's" suggested lubing it will quiet it down for a while.
Just as an FYI, when they get really bad the pedal will not fully return and will give the symptom of a slipping clutch. If yours is actually rusty, I would just replace the whole pedal assembly.
