Anyone build their own connectors? I've been thinking of buying a kit for Deutsch connectors so that when I add an accessory, such as lights, I can utilise a multi plug.

hope you put something between the galv and the aluminum.
I worked for an electrical company in the mid-90s and that GB tool was one of several things I was supposed to have in my tool belt. I've had it ever since, just keeps working. I hope the newer ones are the same quality.
I prefer to build connectors from component pieces, rather than buy pre-made pigtails that you then have to connect to the wiring via splicing. I got a cheap crimper on Amazon for Weatherpacks (a manual non-racheting one so you have to crimp the seal first and then the wire, but I don't need to do a lot of these at any one time). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0732W6HQR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00Anyone build their own connectors? Is something you would sell? ThanksDoing a little 3D printing to make an end for my RoverGauge cable.

I wouldn't feel right selling these, considering they cost nothing to produce. However, if you want one, PM me your shipping address and I will drop a pair of them in the mail to you in a few days.Is something you would sell? Thanks
I have done absolutely nothing on my 90... I need to get everything ready for the next event.
Maybe we can call it the "Lazy Rover Club" Motto: "We'll get to it soon!"is there a club we can join? Will you publish a newsletter - im in the same boat.
I popped the 3D printed bulb holders into the back of the speedo this evening. I am pleased with the fit. I might add a dab of epoxy to each to eliminate any affects from vibration.
I hope I didn't come across as not willing to share. I just have no interest in being a merchant. Attached are the stl files for the bulb holder. One is a press fit and the other is threaded. Let me know if you need me to tweak this. As with everything Land Rover, I'm sure this is not a 1-size fits all piece.Very Cool! Planning to release your model or upload to Thingiverse since you are not selling?
Sure. PM me your shipping information. If you pay for the shipping, I will drop a set in the mail to you.terrapintige,
i do not have access to a 3d printer. would you be willing to make me a set of the speedo bulb holders? i would gladly compensate you for your time designing.
Ha, they are even in El Cajon, CA - 20 minutes' drive from home or work!DeutschConnectorStore | Deutsch Connector Store
