Amazingly well done, but 101 access heights and handling characteristics are only worth putting up with by someone who needs the high clearance. Like a Paris-Dakar Rally support vehicle.

Wow - I dreamed of building one of these out in University. I was travelling in my Series III at the time, so noise level, driving discomfort etc, would have been a pretty even swap, Love the utilitarian practicality of this one.

ECR restored one a “few” years back. Its no longer on their site yet Goggle East Coast Rover FC101 and the archive link shows up. Pretty cool Rover although this camper version is impressive.
