Turn signal/hazard switch behavior

I'm posting this to make it easy to search in the future.
- My turn signals started flashing all four lights when I would signal left or right.
- Common problem with LED's, but I have had LED lights & flasher relay in place for a year with no issues.
- Recently replaced my lower dash with no turn signal issues after. I also just replaced my binnacle mount, so my first impulse was that I pulled or shorted a wire.
- The wiring matches the pictures I took before, during & after each process.
- Hazards work like they are supposed to.
- Pulled the wiper motor cover, started stressing the wiring at the hazard switch, pushing the hazard switch on/off & the turn signals started working correctly.
- Checked & cleaned the connections to ensure good continuity, tested operation again - works as designed as long as I hold the switch "off".
- I can press the hazard switch hard off & the signals work correct as long as I am holding the switch hard off.
- Without pressure on the front of the switch, all four lights come on when I signal.
- Ordered a new hazard switch

This time it wasn't the usual LED lights with not enough resistance or a grounding problem, just a bad hazard switch.
