Tired Of Stupid Door Not Closing!

I'm pretty sure it isn't my latch. Imagine a screw driver being used as a test in place of that bar on the strike plate: The latch easily latches, and holds against all the pressure I could put on it.

I have got the door to latch and hold, but it does not sit flush. I know this is a fairly common Defender thing, but mine sticks out more than many other trucks I've compared it to. Something is a bit off, twisted, or tweaked. Right now, I'm going to leave it as is, and just know that some water will get in when it is coming from the right direction. Both my front doors really should just be replaced, but I have not the budget for it at this time.

I replaced the strike plate, and replaced the screws with new stainless. I also spaced it out from the B-pillar a bit more. This allowed it to hit at a better spot, and the new screws allowed me to actually get it tight and hold in the right spot. Not perfect, but workable.
