Tire Gash - repairable?

Is there any issue with replacing two of my four XZLs with the KM3s and running mismatched tires?

I would call that a no go. For many reasons, including safety, different speed ratings, braking performance, weights, wear patterns, etc. Easier on the wallet but not on the vehicle.

You’d be limiting your rotation to only side to side. I wouldn’t. But I’ve always done 5 tires as a set and rotated all of them into use.

Luggy tires like this should not be rotated side to side. They develop directional wear and if you rotate side to side there is a lot of extra wear. Just rotate front to back.

Thanks for your opinion on tire rotation and lack of understanding my post.
