Tiktaalik Grill and light gaurds

I know a second run of these grills is a possibility that will most likely depend on demand. I got the OK from Carl to see what demand would actually be. He mentioned that there would be some refinements to the design. No idea on price, and certainly no timeline. This is just a "are you interested" post. I guess post up if you are interested and we'll see what happens. I'll keep a record of who is interested in what.

These grills look sharp & are great for keeping the "stock look" without the warping & cracking.
I feel fortunate to have the production sample from his first run (after he sold out).

The original prices were $440 for the grill and $240 for the headlight surrounds.

I have been away for a bit adjusting to the dad life, namely being completely broke and exhausted.

But, more importantly, it is looking like there will be a second run of the grills. It looks to be grills only at this time, but it doesn't hurt to mention any other interests you may have. Small light guards might be popular too.

He is working on a few modifications to make the grill fit better with the slight curve of the surround. No word on price yet, but he hopes to keep it as close to the original as possible. I would expect between $450 and $500 to be safe.

Unfortunately with Carl using the "other site" It means you will likely have to contact him through there. If there is anyone that can't do that, shoot me a PM and I can work something out. As someone who has stared at these photos for the last 6 months, don't miss this opportunity. I get the feeling this is a lot of work for Carl, so it might be a long time before you get another chance.

I'm sure these take a lot of work to create - you know what isn't a lot of work - posting to an internet forum.

I'm posting because I originally contacted Carl in July and asked him if he would do a run if I could get enough people together. I don't know Carl, nor do I benefit in any way from this other than getting a change to buy an awesome grill. I posted here because I liked the people here and wanted to make sure they had the same opportunity.

As for why he doesn't post here, can't say. It might have to do with the fact that 1 person in this thread was interested vs the 6 in the other. Or maybe that this thread was dead until I revived it yesterday vs the constant requests for updates in the other. But most of all, it probably has to do with the enormous user base over there vs here. But if you want to know, send him a PM.
