Tensioning AC belt on V-belt Defenders..

Okay, I feel like an idiot even asking this. Seems like such a simple thing. I know how to access the bolt holding the tensioner pully in position, but I can't seem to figure out a way to put tension on the belt to then tighten the pulley position. I can't seem to find the right place to put a bar to leverage it. What the heck am I missing?

Getting tired of listening to the chirping/squealing of the belt, ready to cut the damn thing off and deal with it in the spring when AC may be wanted again..

Thanks for your reply rocky, but that appears to be a serpentine style belt with a spring/auto tensioner. I have the traditional multi v-belt setup, one for the alternator, one for the power steering, one for the AC compressor...
