Living in the 3rd world is always trying shipping is a racket; then it hits the Aduana. usually 3 weeks from time a order is placed until the day it arrives.
Machinist welded the blanking disk to the ports; now we drill and tap the external ports to add the fitting. I painted it white; easy to spot any leak, should there ever be another.
There is only 1/2 inch of shoulder to thread so we have to cut threads on female 1/2" NCP fitting to 1/2 will bond with JB Weld permanent.
I took the supplier from e-bay 12 days to ship the stainless re-enforced hose so it will show maybe next week.
In the mean time crossing a river I found a rock and bent the steering rod; we'll cut and machine a much heavier piece of bar stock and replace that, as I am adding a front sway bar. have had a rear for a couple of years now I'll do the front. Had re-built the steering box a few months back and have been using a friends spare; time to make that change; looks like pulling the complete fender and inner well is the easiest way to do all of this.
I purchased a complete change of bolts and nuts to do all of this oil cooler modification, including manifold studs and gasket. Also oil pipe and gaskets to turbo charger.
