FWIW the ones we have are the same ID as genuine

Maybe you're not getting it fully seated within the bushing/spindle?

Are you sticking a bolt in & pulling the CV out as far as possible?

This is the PL bushing on both early types of CVs

As always good support from ZG and RN.

But sounds like it may be the OD or material of the bush that leads to the ID shrinking slightly after getting pressed in to the stub.

Turns out that one side was about 1mm too small in ID. I took it to a guy down the road who has a CNC shop above his garage and for $30, he milled it down. Fits perfectly now. Every time I buy non-Genuine, I regret it in the end. You never save money doing that.
