Steel Wheel Lug Nut Sets, Specially Treated

We've been processing lug nuts along with our regular hardware and finally getting around to offering them up.

The yellow/gold lug nuts have been treated with the standard yellow zinc chromate that you find on high grade steel hardware.

The black lug nuts are nitrocarburized (AKA: salt bath nitride/nitriding/liquid salt bath ferritic nitrocarburizing). This is the same treatment used on high end firearms and components. Our test mule truck has had the lugs removed/installed 5+ times and they still look new. They look a bit glossy in the pic but the processing residue wipes off to reveal a matte finish.
