Shipping for SW top

Any suggestions for shipping a top? Fastenal won't ship. It's bigger than they are willing to do.

No particular suggestion.. Might be pricey. If you are buying a top it might be better to hold out for one closer to you.
I'm just up the coast from you in BC. I have a 109 station wagon top to sell.... Of course that's only useful info if you have a 109 :)

Crate it before shipment. Otherwise it could become scrap by the time it gets there. Once crated uship/Fastenal perhaps?

Crated obviously.
Fastenal won't ship. It's too big for them.
I put it up on Uship, we will see what comes of that.
I might just have to pass on the deal, but it's a really good deal. The bigger freight companies are pretty pricey so far.

Ship it standing up on edge, that how I have done E-type bonnets. It would make easier if the sides are on it.
