After recently seeing a few member's post high miles on their Rover V8's, I figured it would be interesting to hear more.

I'll start, nothing impressive...'94 D90 with 107k, '95 RRC with 148k

Let's hear from some of you with 200k+ or even 300k! What do you do for maintenance, best practices...

310k on my '95 RRC with the 4.2... but I'm the third owner. The first owners might have had it rebuilt or even replaced. I suppose I could check with the VIN?

197,000 on my 02 RR.
167,000 on 98 Discovery of which the V8 had 156k and the new from factory HS2.8 had 11k before it blew apart.

178,000mi on my 93 110. Replaced original 3.9 at 148k with a 4.6, but it was running great and not burning oil when pulled.

Wife's 1999, Series1 Disco, owned since new, 185,000 miles
Head gasket at 125,000
1997 Disco, 214,000+ (VSS stopped in August so actual miles are around 230,000!), own since 77,000 miles, never had a head gasket!!!!
