Series III 88 with a 10j. I had the cylinder head rebuilt. I hoped that would take care of the crank case pressure. Im going to have to have do the lower end as well, and come to find out the injection pump is probably in need of a rebuild. This is a recent import from El Salvador and the gas was full of gritty trash and water. Im not sure if I can drain and flush the pump or if it just needs to be rebuilt. If so I need some direction on where or who might be able to do it for me

Is there an inline fuel sedimenter pre-injection pump?
There is. I detached the line into the ip and primed using the lift pump lever and all kinds of grit, water and other came out. I drained the sedimenter and repeated with similar results, repeated the draining until its was clean fuel. The problem is that the damage was already done. I also flushed the injectors. They were full of trash. Im pretty sure I need to rebuild the pump or replace it with a good used one. The number 4 cylinder has no compression, you can literally hear it whistling when you turn over the engine. So I have more problems. I had the cylinder head rebuilt and the no 4 valve stem was chewed up. Im good with the other problems but without a good pump I'm out of luck here.

10j, that's the 2.25, right? For an IP rebuild, I would probably contact Blue Ridge Diesel in VA. It may be more cost effective to buy new or rebuilt/exchange from the UK.
