Haven't looked for this kit since I sold my 110, but seems a good deal for complete kit. $788

Not that Im questioning the legitimacy, but that's well below our cost on the parts in our kit, not sure how they're retailing it for that price. I know we have a few genuine parts in ours due to issues with aftermarket(pads specifically)

I also wonder how they're getting away without replacing the half shafts and drive flanges?

I've had quality issues with stuff from Lucky8. Specifically their polybush lower control arms for the LR4 - one control arm split along the tube that the bushing sits in, about four years after I bought them. Ripped the front axle out of the front diff. Major mess and major expense. This happened while driving down the road on a truck that hasn't been off-roaded.

Looks like they are doing it with the drum axle shafts. Not that it is particularly bad, but that is not as good as replacing the shafts with disc style. I presume they machine the brackets down. Assuming it’s all britpart or similar, the price seems about right to me. I never actually bothered to do the conversion on either, but I gathered all the parts to do it to factory disc spec because I was not readily able to machine the brackets. There is a thread in enemy territory laying it all out. But ask recall early pre-ABS RRC hubs and machine a little off the bracket and everything bolts up with the original drum shafts.

I’d have to go back and look, but if you have the correct early RRC hubs/spindles used (and correct bolts @JimC 🤣 sorry) it’s not that much in parts to do, and basically you can even skip some of the stuff in the kit.

If anyone orders it, let us know if they are machined and how it looks, I would at least pay for genuine pads and seals and such though.

I installed the Lucky 8 kit, which I purchased for roughly the same price as this listing, back in 2019. I can confirm it uses the drum shafts and you do need to clearance the bracket a bit to get it to install flush. I am over 4 years in, and it is meeting my needs. I don't recall all of the details, and I think I did encounter a hiccup or 2. It is all documented on the thread on the other site.

So they are not clearancing the brackets for you?

For clarification this was not the full mating surface, just 2 areas where there was interference.

I bought the Lucky 8 kit and wish I hadn't. I got it to work but it it was incomplete. It didn't include the flanges and half shafts which I had to order separately. It also included the front rotor instead of the rear rotor. The caliper mounting bracket didn't fit and I had to trim it. I called them and asked them about these issues and they seemed surprised as they said they had many happy customers. They asked me to send them photos of the issues, I did, and they never responded to my several follow ups. I found someone on the other forum that had the exact same issues that I did.
