Safety Devices / NAS roll bar clamp

I always see people claiming the clamps for the NAS roll bars are impossible to get. I just ordered two of these to modify my surf racks to fit my roll bar. Should be nice, all aluminum, padded inside, and threaded top. Came two $75 shipped for 2 single style.

I need some cage clamps.
Need steel that I can weld to...
Clearance is a little tight; this is for the cage by the front doors but it is a ST so not as bad as a wagon/hard roof.

Ideas?

I used the STV Steel Clamps. Worked great for my roof rack on my external SD cage. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0108ZVM8K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These are them welded up.
