Finished the install of A Davia under dash AC system in my under construction Def 110.. Its all wired, plumbed, etc, however not charged with freon as of yet. Tried to get the under dash blower to run today after I finished the wiring to see what I had screwed up, and it wont turn on.
I have it wired to white switched ignition and battery as per installation instructions. Im guessing / hoping / wondering if it needs to be charged with freon to run? i was under the impression that there was a pressure switch that wouldn't allow the compressor to kick on without proper freon level, but shouldn't the interior under dash blower still function regardless of freon level?
Basically trying to determine if i screwed up the wiring to the blower or if the reason it wont run is due to lack of refrigerant..
