I believe 1/4" thick steel was used.

These look cool and very sturdy. For $350, why not offer a finished product.?To have to weld these up and powder paint after limits who your buyer is..

These look awesome - 1/4" STOUT indeed. Too bad my welding skills are crap.

They look good. If I might add some constructive criticism though. There is no reason to have sharp corners unless they serve a functional purpose or are a requirement for fitment. I realize these aren't in a "high traffic" area of the truck, but there's nothing like slicing yourself open or ripping your pants or shirt when you lease expect it on a sharp corner.

Agreed. Particularly when coming out from working under the truck and sitting up. I rounded the corners on mine for this specific reason. Looks nice, very thoughtful design. I’d suggest showing at least one picture of what you actually get in lieu of what you possibly could make someday.., truth in advertising and all. Imho.

Those rear lamp guards were made by Carl about 9 yrs ago NLA. It was a one time run. I still have my brand new set in my stash. Someday I’ll get around to installing them.
